I'm still wondering why, in the first few days of the Ukrainian invasion, Russia put out a call for "pediatric surgeons". If it was just for casualties, wouldn't any surgeon do? Surgeons with combat experience?

Why did it have to be so specific?

I read about it on here on the first weekend - Feb 26 or 27? No idea what the original source was. It may have been BS. I did a cursory search on Yandex just now and found nothing.
