Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, sometimes referred to as mormons, have been counseled by their prophet to keep food storage abd to be prepared for emergencies and disasters. It used to be 2 years, then 1 year, then 6 months, but now it is "as circumstances allow". Many members are very well stocked, especially in rural areas.
We keep this for security during disasters and other unlikely events.
In a disaster, we are well-prepared to feed and clothe and shelter the needy. We also are ready to volunteer in relief efforts.
The "church" is the body of Christ, AKA its members. God calls leaders but never once claimed they are inerrant. We are supposed to discern for ourselves by the Spirit.
About half of us never wore masks and never got vaccinated. The prophet told us to get vax and such, but we don't swear allegiance to him. I asked if I would get kicked out if I didn't wear a mask or get vaxxed and I am still here.
Mitt Romney is a wolf in sheep's clothing. Trump exposed him. There are a lot of them among us. I pray they all get exposed. We have the best kids and we are a bit naive so we attract wolves. That is changing fast.
LDS in a nutshell: Christ came to Joseph Smith and told him to start a church. He did. They got persecuted a lot, left for Utah and settled almost all of the West. We send tons of young missionaries out if you want to learn more.

You sound LDS. I have a question. What was the churches take on covid?
Did they encourage compliance with the vaxx and with masking?
What is the official opinion on Mitt Romney. Do they promote him?
I was LDS for decades. When the Denver Cannery was first operational I volunteered for a year there. It was an experience.
Back then...Mitt Romney was The Great White Hope. Has that changed?
