I have felt for a long time that this would tie back to Pizzagate somehow. There was too much good research and truth uncovered in those days for it to have been all false. I don't believe that for a moment.

I used to watch The Young Turks (yes, ex-liberal) and Jordan Chariton used to do good interviews for them. Ambush style. He goes after Donna Brazile about the emails and you can see the narrative being crafted from the start around then.
