Honest question for those who have seen the whole series… I’ve watched bits and pieces but haven’t sat through it all yet. Do you feel like it’s made you more or less encouraged about the state of affairs in our world? My mental state is pretty bad right now, I feel pretty hopeless about our world and I don’t want to make it worse
I won't watch it, I suffer from depression. It's important to care for yourself and that means moderating what you're doing - almost like a parent would to a child.
That's taking control of the situation. It's not our fault we have an emotional dysregulation but it is our responsibility.
A lot of people talk about how they've lost a lot being on these boards. It's important they understand that if they choose to engage in activities that causes them misery, God doesn't want that for you. We are supposed to live joyful lives!
God doesn't ask us to fight evil - he explicitly told us Jesus overcame evil on the cross and we are to spread the gospel. We are to spread the joy and the good news.
This kind of flies in the face of a lot of what people are doing, and that's the part I wonder if evil isn't doing more of replicating itself here, by dragging people down.
If it can make you stronger, then I guess go for it. But it's not required by us to be so involved we lose ourselves, our joy, our families, friends and lives.
as a sufferer myself with years of experience under my belt I can say to you this... WORK OUT... HARD!! FIND A HOBBY... for me its golf and guitar.. even if u cant afford golf u can find a local course with a good driving range and chipping/putting area. you will be outside, connected to the grass and dirt and focused on progressing through something that is very difficult to get decent to good at. put in some headphones, listen to music and enjoy some physical activity outside then go workout!! another tip is dont dwell on mistakes and insecurity but thats a tough one i know.. works it self out if you work out tho. if you hate it.. go jog. go disc golf. go hike. just fucking GO. look up at the sky and say "thank you for all of this"... good luck and God bless!
Thank you so much for sharing! this is really good insight, and I have to agree, I wonder if God wants us to be so involved that it affects our mental state? Honestly, sometimes I look around at all the normies and wish I could go back to being blissfully ignorant of all the evil around us. It just seems we are the ones who are most in despair, waiting for change to happen but not seeing it happen. I guess I'm right now on the verge of being blackpilled. I dug in so far since 2020 and it honestly has only made my outlook on life worse - not sure that's what God wants for us either. That's why I asked the question... so thank you for sharing.
I’m a millennial and I’m just angry. I should have noticed all the evils of this world sooner than 2020 and I’m very disappointed in others my age who bought the Covid nonsense without asking questions. My escape from the ugliness in this world is to garden and prep for a doomsday scenario; I’m looking for my first house and being very particular to find a decent sized country location. I refuse to live in a city mostly because of the restrictions and politics there.
God is ultimately in control no matter what happens. There is Biblical prophesy to be followed and observed, and that observation is in the form of watching and noting what is occurring in the world. The events of this world are the canary in the cave. 2 Tim 2:15 is applicable in both aspects.
If you are worried about depression, then don't delve too far, but at least be superficially aware of what is happening. I've learned many things that left me sleepless for many nights on end, but faith keeps me moving forward, try looking at Ps. 91, that might help your perspective.
I think it depends on how strong your faith in God is. Do you trust God? There comes a sense of peace in knowingGod is in control.
This stuff has been going on for years - all hidden from us. Now that we are awake it can be overwhelming when you begin to understand how deep the deep state is. This is a marathon in uncovering all this corruption. You comfort level in understanding Good will win over Evil is essential.
