I actually work in a service station in Canada.
The prices make no sense. I learned recently its illegal for me to tell prices over the phone.
But literally walk20 mins south and its 1 cent less per litter.
1 cent difference?! How is that even significant enough to even mention?!
Dude, that's a WHOLE fucking cent!
I can understand the fuss if it is a U.S. cent, but not Canadian!! 🤣
That's a CDN cent.
Even more useless!
Well 1 c per week, lets average 20liters/ week, by driving 2 streets further.
52 weeks, 20x 52 is 10.40 CDN$
But say you drive a pickup, who drinks 5x more. thats 50$.
Now for you thats nothing, but multiply that basically free profit times all the people who pay it. Which i see about 1.5k people a day in 8 hrs
Thats 15k CDN$ By charging 1 c more/l on the main street. Per year.
And thats just MY SHIFT. I dont have math for other shifts. I do evenings.
OMG, I can't believe you wasted time on this...lol...you need a hobby!
And today's modern trucks are not 5x less efficient...lol
I see the receipts every day bro.
I get paid to look at this shit.
Lol seriously? The prices in the US vary at times by closer to a dollar a gallon (3.78 liters) from one place to the next.
