DeSantis is posturing for a run for President.
Even with all his right moves he doesn't stand a chance against Trump, if Trump decides to run in 2024 which I don't believe is set in stone at this point.
In fact I am not so sure we have even seen the whitehat's candidate for 2024. Trump is getting up there in years, and he took a lot of abuse already for the movement. They may not want him to remain as the center piece. This revolution is going to take decades and he can't last long enough to see it to the end. The cabal has been taking control since before the central bank was created in 1919. It is going to take some time to dismantle the demon system.
DeSantis is being prepped for after Trump finishes his terms out. I'd say DeSantis 2028. Florida is going to become the model for all other states, but it will take more time.

However, I do think Trump will run again in 2024 and possibly have a chance to be back before then, after the 2022 midterms.
It's my understanding that if he was back in office before the midterms he could only finish out the current term and not be able to run in 2024. If he returns after the midterms in 2022 he could then also run again in 2024.
This would allow Trump to be President for a total of 10 years instead of 6.

Maybe Trump chose the right chalice because he doesn't seem to have aged much at all.
I hope you are right about him sticking around, and ten years would be even better. We do need him, but we need to also look beyond his time. The transition away from the cabal run world is going to be fairly long in my opinion.

The two party illusion of Republicans vs Democrats must be destroyed forever. It is clear, to me at least, that the two parties are US vs Them.
We need a permanent structural change that ensures We The People have our voices heard. You are right that Trump can't be there forever. He has been an important catalyst for the change we need as a country.
Hopefully, when he is back in office he can lead us toward the change we need, but in order for it to be sustainable, We The People need to get involved locally and all the way up to the top levels. What we've been through is a "never forget" experience and we must embrace that to ensure long term change for generations to come.

I wouldn't mind seeing him run a few years down the road, if he keeps going the way he is in Florida. He is to recent on the scene for me to want to see him go against Trump. That would just split up the vote so they could try to primary Trump out, and he might have been put in place just for that attempt. The cabal plays the long game, and plays it from both sides of the aisle.
He won't challenge trump if trump wants it. He also won't get it ynless trump endorses him.
