Kek! I was at a ski area in Washington state yesterday. Was in an unorganized group of three who were waiting for service at a beverage bar. When the clerk returned, I noticed that an organized line had formed off to one side. I asked the apparent woman at the front of that line if she had arrived before me, but she said that I was there first. I then said, "okay, but ladies first!" She shook her head a tersely said "No! No way."
Not gonna have any of that gender nonsense! Kudos to her/it, for not selling out to chivalry . . .
