I consider it the better choice between evils. Have them executed, crimes sealed and removed from society vs continuing their evil ways.
It's like Riddick:
"In normal times, evil would be fought by good. But in times like these, well, it should be fought by another kind of evil."
This might be an unpopular opinion, but some (obviously not all) movies/films/media are practically guides... Parables, for the modern man. In ancient times, parables were spread by holy men and recorded as scripture. Now, people still have the words of ancient holy men, but also allegories to their teachings reinterpreted into modern day stories that contemporary society can understand - if they are willing to open their eyes and take the red pill.
In war, you take the win, even if you don't necessarily agree with your allies.
I don't agree with crimes sealed, let people know what they were doing, what they families have supported silently, other than that, I agree with you for sure. However, the another kind of evil will most likely want to establish themselves by doing even worse to people, after beating the current evil bastards. But of course, win is a win, no matter how small or big it is, i just feel like corruption is too heavy nowadays.
Agreed. Corruption is everywhere, and it is severe. Some days it's merely depressing, while other times it seems overwhelming. It is hard when it happens close to home. It's one thing when it's some politician you've never heard of. But when you discover that your 'good' boss you've known for years has been embezzling, or your pastor is selling drugs, or your cousin who's a school resource officer and considered the friendly neighborhood cop gets caught taking bribes and sleeping with teenage girls, it really hits home.
yeah
