First, anyone who doesn't not already have a good filter due to all the fluoride, meds, and chemicals in your fucking water supply is an idiot.
Second, the guy made an assumption about it being put in the water supply but I didn't take from that to mean the entire us water supply. I can see them hitting small communities here and there for "super spreader" stories. Or even the water supply on a cruise ship to kick this whole thing off. We all know the vast majority of "positives" were false anyway. But something had to kick this off.
Reverse osmosis is the only thing that removes super small contaminants such as fluoride and heavy metals. If there were venom peptides those would be caught in larger filters.
I have been researching but I cannot find anything on how large individual venom peptides are? Is there a range of sizes? My lady believes they are comparable in size to bacteria which would put them at 2 microns. Can't confirm or deny without some more data.

Don't throw the baby out with the bathWATER
Just moved into a new place and this subject is new to me. What kind of filtration are we talking about?

Chlorine dioxide kills venom peptides if there are any smaller than 0.5 microns, per health ranger podcast.
Chlorine dioxide does all kinds of good things.

I've been using berkey for years. I have 2 in my kitchen. I take my berkey water very seriously lol.
I've seen pedes talk about reverse osmosis being the best. My homie has a crazy ass Berkey water filter.
I have a reverse osmosis system. It wasn't the cheapest but it's very good tasting water.
You can also make your own ceramic water filter for a fraction of the cost of reverse osmosis system or a Berkey.
