Anyone realize how much "snake venom" you'd need to poison the whole US domestic water supply.
Millions and millions of cubic meters!
Several thousands of tanker trucks giving a continous feed from coast (shipped from china, think fentanyl) to the rest of the country.
Does anyone remember when a suspicious armored truck holding sick monkeys got crashed into?
Multiplying both the probability of it happening (10000's more trucks) and the probability of it being reported (a deadly snake venom spill!? Garunteed news). It is statistically IMPOSSIBLE that this couldve been happening without us getting even a glimpse of noticing for this long!
See how I didnt even touch how "snake venom" is mentioned and not whatever (chemical weapon) that wouldve probably done a better job with a smaller amount?
Its because even if fucking Chemical X was used, the probabilities alone wouldve essentially garunteed we wouldve found this out from in-the-field accidents and citizen journalism.
If (humoungous "if") mass chemical weapons was what happened, It wouldve been a GLORIOUS triumph for the DS if they could keep it undetected for even a MONTH!
Let alone the fact that most venomous snakes will render only like a few drops of venom per drawing, takes like weeks for them to "refill", that's why most of em will only really bite when they feel it's absolutely necessary.
It would take a ridiculous amount of time to amass the amount needed
idk to be honest, but as far as I know breeding them and collecting the venom is quite the lucrative thing, exactly because it's such a pain to collect any decent amount, and they do use the stuff in the pharma industry for sure.
But if they could simply synthesize it I doubt that would be the case.
Especially as we're not drinking most of that water, the majority is being used for laundry, bathing, and flushing toilets. If they were poisoning just bottled water then it'd be more believable.

Can it not be synthesized?
It's apparently possible. https://engineering.usu.edu/be/students/senior-projects/fall2017-spring2018/synthetic-snake-venom
Yes, and in the video he says this and shows a company who actually does this…
It can, and it is.
People who think the deep state has people out there catching snakes to extract their venom don't have a clue.
Some could but there's easier chemicals to make that you could poison people with and cheaper to just bribe inspectors to ignore it.

Or in cleaning supplies, such as floor cleaners could be bad for crawling babies.
