We're two months into a baby formula shortage because the FDA recalled the product after 4 babies got bacteria infections. These are the same people who want your children to get the death jab.

What do you recommend for people who have an apt?
Vertical growing! Find a system that fits on your deck if you live in a sunny, warm area. Put it on castors and rotate. If you are like me, and live in far northern climes where there isn’t much sunlight during the winter, sprout.
Sprouting is probably your most nutritional source of nutrients anyway. Sprouts have all the nutrients available to grow the plant, but you don’t grow it to full leaf.
I only grow to a small “tail” of a sprout. By doing seeds this way, you get all the nutritional value of the seed that would have been put to growing the plant.
I know this is a “hippy” site, but check out sproutpeople.com. They teach you how to sprout but you don’t have to buy their seeds.
Most importantly, is to buy organic, and preferably heirloom seeds. No gmo seeds.
You certainly know your stuff!
I grow microgreens and are distinctly different from sprouts! They have massive nutritional value of their adult plants with a harvest turnaround time of less than 14 days of some varieties.
I make smoothies with them and use a vacuum blender which sucks all the air out of the smoothie unlike a normal blender that just mixes air with the final product which helps with digestion issues.
True Leaf is where I get my high quality non-gmo seeds as well.
If interested more in this type of vertical farming, check out On The Grow channel on YT. Good place to start and the couple is really a breath of fresh air compared with similar content creators on this topic.
I have tried micros, but they are just more work than sprouting, for me anyway.
I use a flat sprouting system, not the jar. Let them Get to the dicotyledon stage and then put them in the window to green up if I get them that far! I love my little tail sprouts! They are instant nutrition and like eating my nuts!
I’ll flavor them with different seasonings so I don’t get bored. Cajun is my favorite :-)
I do also grow a garden each summer, for the root crops I like, such as carrots, beets, radishes… and the big stuff I like like squash and big heads of broccoli.
Oh, and planted elephant garlic last fall for the first time - will see how that grows this summer :-)
microgreens and if you have a small balcony or patio space that gets sunlight, get a greenstalk tower.
