Agree. Memes are important, and they are not a waste of time. Normies are goldfish. 3-second memory. Led by emotions. Impact has to be immediate and concise. Analysis is certainly important for establishing truth, but it doesn't work to convince a goldfish.
Memes are nothing more than rhetorical devices. And rhetoric either points to or away from the truth. Which is why the best memes are ones that highlight truth.
For people who are simply unable to comprehend information, we must resort to using rhetoric to sway them. This is why they are so susceptible to mass-media programming; it short circuits logic and reason and goes right for emotion. Commercials ads work really well on them.
They were not reasoned INTO their predicament and therefore cannot be reasoned OUT of it
Everyone can be a goldfish sometimes β¦ the difference is normies spend 90% of their time in that mode.
Memes are good because they usually only deliver ONE point, and the normies have to think about that ONE point.
If you hit a normie with 10 points, they will focus on the weakest part of your argument, which is usually a spelling or grammatical error.
Donβt give them any alternative, but to focus on ONE point at a time.
