Free will is the answer. If God interfered every time we fucked up then he didn't actually grant us free will.

God can grant strength and guidance to us but he cannot intervene in our affairs.

This is how the bad guys operate without being destroyed by God. Through deception they manipulate us to do their bidding therefore it us of our own free will and can't be interfered with.
