It's possible, in Russia, that if a man dies... his wife or children inherit all his money and property.

If there is no wife or living children... any property or wealth is seized by the Russian state (Putin redistributes the seized wealth to his friends).

Maybe that explains why the wife and kids were all killed.

Mmmm. I don't think Putin bad because of media. I've always thought Putin bad because of how he treats his people. Under Obama and Bush, they were on a kind of, Putin good kick, didn't buy it.
