Still use firefox with 3 adblockers and noScript(also enhancer for youtube(fabrication/machining content being the only interest there)), I have ZERO advertising everywhere....
Have done a few of those 'tracking info requests' and they're pretty much nothing but tumbleweeds............
I even have ZERO adverts on those pirate streaming sites(no script is a bit of a learning curve but naming of streaming and content servers/scripts are fairly obvious(usually have stream/vid/mov/cdn etc in the name) and you just do a bit of trial and error with allow temporarily to figure the rest out(an absolute pop-up blocker is also a part of my setup and that is ALWAYS on when I'm temp allowing unknown scripts to get a site to work)
My browsing experience is rather serene, all I have to worry about are the NPC-people/blatant propaganda posts on socials + news sites...
I recognize myself.
Also got, Palemoon (which I whip like a dead horse) with 30 ancient extensions literally shoehorned into it using moon tester tool, Basilisk, Librewolf and Konqueror.
Unfortunately we're a very small minority, made worse by the majority of younger generations being nowhere near as tech-savvy as the general reputation say they are(say's the cantankerous old fuck who's first PC was running win 3.11....)
It's nice to be able to just go to a web site knowing that one wrong click does not mean getting a virus.
Linux does not hurt either obviously.
The younger gen, in this latest iteration, have been dumbed down by their "devices" that they are not even root level users of.
