How they perform on the job is an entire different matter. A company should not hire or fire people depending on their political affiliation. It is none of the company's business.

If I have a company, I want people of sound mind and acute discernment working for me, being a crazed leftist immediately disqualifies anyone of both, a perfect litmus test

I'd only be acting in the best interests of my company, period.
