The serious issue common to all this is low self esteem. And I mean extremely low self esteem. There are lots of ways in which the society has been designed to attack kids' self esteem, but there is only one way to make sure kids grow up with a healthy self esteem.

The trick is, as long as kids are comparing themselves to others, they will always have this problem. It took me a long time to understand this, but only when we believe that we were all created equal by a benevolent creator, can we love ourselves not in vain but as God's creations.

Thats when healthy self esteem comes and you dont have to prove anything to anyone, let alone to yourself.
