We are a republic that elects it's leaders through a democratic process. We are a democratic republic. Why is it wrong to say democracy but right to say republic even though both are missing a piece of the picture?
Explain it to me then? So far the argument against my statement is "nuh uh," which isn't an arguement. I'm open to being wrong, but you actually have to convince me.
A "democracy" is 2 wolves and a sheep deciding what is for dinner.
A "republic" is the sheep telling the wolves to pound sand, I have rights that can not be abridged by the wolves vote.
