Seriously guys, I'm really getting sick of this. Yes, it's important to learn how to research, but remember when they invented the calculator and the teacher kept telling you how important it was to learn to do it on paper, and yet...there's a fucking calculator?
This place is our calculator. Nobody is going to take anyone else's words at face value, true. And we shouldn't. But the truth is not everyone knows what everyone else knows and we're not going to learn what everyone knows if we keep sticking our noses in the air and saying "look it up yourself."
You looked it up apparently, do us all a favor and show us where you looked. It will help get us all where we need to be a hell of a lot faster.
Yeah, sauce required.
But there are a lot who come in and ask for all kind.of details. In turn they should go research it themselves rather than badger the person who posted or anyone else.
Most of the time someone gets that reply for that reason. They ask for detaisl that have not been found/researched. And instead of contributing they get pussy at the thought of habing to do.it themselves.
I understand we all place our feet on the road at different times and places.
I'm extremely tolerant of beginners....but for those who say
"what does it say" because they're too lazy to read an article I will refer them to the article.
2 hour video?...I want a time marker for the spot the relevant info is at in the video.
24 page document? Point to the page[s] the info can be found on.
Reading the comments below, a lot of people are blaming laziness as the reason for people not wanting to do their own research.
I think the biggest issue is a lot of people are simply too busy and wore out by the end of the day. For myself, after I finish a long day at work, spend time with my family, do chores and so on. Most evenings I only get 15 -30mins max screen time. I sometimes only want a brief overview of the days happenings. I have no interest in watching a 2 hour video, no matter what the topic
And I have no interest in rolling it all up for you. Maybe hire a personal assistant, if you're so pre-occupied. Operative word being, "hire".
