Nah. I think Twitter itself controlled many bot accounts, and engineers deleted them outright once the sale to Musk was finalized.

In an attempt to mask these deletions, they reactivated all conservative and Anon accounts suspended for wrong think which is why Don Jr. gained many "new" followers during the same time frame.

Doesn't appear they reactivated accounts suspended for abusing other users.
