The commie FDR regime supplied the commie Stalin regime with over 50% of their weapons, equipment, food, etc. even though they couldn't, and never did pay the US back one red cent nor return any equipment that still remained viable - via "The Lend Lease Act or 1942". Without all that free stuff, the USSR would have been crushed in short order.
The Lend Lease Act was between the UK and the USA.
The UK gave up a lot of its Caribbean and other bases around the world in exchange for warships, aircraft, armoured vehicles and other materiel.
It had nothing to do with supplying Russia, that was done by the Royal Navy and other allied navies with convoys into the arctic to the port of Murmansk.
We supplied the USSR with food, ammo, boots, clothing, fuel and other shit via lend-lease. We borrowed the money for the gov’t to buy it under that spending profram and shipped it over the Atlantic to the Brits we received it via terms of lend-lease. It was all fudged but lend-lease was the mechanism by which it happened. We had the royal navy deliver bc we were “neutral”.
Nope -> "Passed on March 11, 1941, this act set up a system that would allow the United States to lend or lease war supplies to ANY NATION deemed "vital to the defense of the United States.""
And what we lent to Uncle Joe far surpassed what we gave to England and France - exponentially more. The Soviets were losing everything to Germany for the first 6 months until the US supplies starting flowing in en masse.
But you're not gonna find this information easily in lamestream sources of course. Nor how the United States (Wall Street) built the Soviet Union post WWII, provided them with all our technology, corporate secrets and of course trillions of taxpayer money as well as $USD $20 & $100 printing plates for them to print at will.
The "cold war" was a farce beginning to end, as virtually all wars were.
Right out of FDR's playbook for Uncle Joe...
What do you mean?

Not to mention that Russia sold some that aging ammo back to the US in the '90s. Until Clinton put a stop to it.

Making Germany not want to fight the Brits by supplying them I’m assuming
