An account isn't required to use archive.us. (Hard to believe, right?)
For most web pages and videos, just paste the url into the "My url is alive and I want to archive its content" box and click "Save". (IIRC, it will check to see if it's already been archived and, if so, will present the link.)
Lines of code will appear/generate on the page. It may take a few minutes.
After it's done, the page/video page will display with an "archive.xxxxxxxx" url at the top. This url can then be used to link to the page/vudeo.
(IIRC, there's no expiration on the archived page/video.)
