That definition is there because you have to account for war, law enforcement, death penalty, and termination of life support

I dont buy that. Death penalty is a punishment after a trial is completed not simply a strategic plan to kill someone. Termination of life support is murder. At best it could be called assisted suicide. War is murder, horrible example. Law enforcement should NOT be premeditating the killing of anyone. If so they should be charged with murder. Self defense is not murder.
