I mean, most murders aren’t committed by random psychopaths. They have reasons. (Love triangle, robbery, gangs, drunken arguments) Doesn't mean we make murder legal because you have a flimsy reason to kill.

It's only 100% preventable with lifetime abstinence along with the absence of rape/incest.
No method of birth control is 100%, not even BC pills.
All men "could" theoretically choose to make a sacrifice of 100% abstinence and then there would be zero abortions. But that's never gonna happen . . .
Unwanted pregnancy is something men never have to worry about, unless they are gonna have to be financially responsible. My Pa grew up in the Depression and came from a family of 11 sibs. I reckon there was little or no birth control in that family. My Aunt said, "Mama, I'm never gonna get married." "Oh really?" says my Grandma. Auntie: "OK, maybe I will . . .but I'm not gonna sleep with him!" Pa wanted kids, but not 11. My Mom kept poppin' 'em out on purpose. She usually knew when she could get pregnant. My Dad got mad about it after the fifth one. He had wanted a small family. Mom was pro abortion rights even though she said she would never choose abortion for herself . . .
Ever since this Roe v Wade leak came out, I notice most of the vocal guys are on the "blame the 'whores' and 'c****' wagon." Please understand that the "C" word is extremely offensive and is the equivalent of the "N" word for black folks. Some of the guys here may have not given thought to the realization that there will probably be some women in Heaven who had abortion(s). In Heaven, no one will be calling women the "C" word, nor black people the "N" word. People become Christians at various stages of life, they experience repentance, and this changes their values. Some women have told me that they had an abortion, and the next time they got pregnant, they kept the baby because the abortion experience was so devastating. So sometimes people learn from their mistakes, as well. Keep in mind that Moses and David committed murder, but they are among the redeemed because Christ died for their sins. God redeems some of all types of sinners. Everyone is, in fact, a sinner, and the Bible mentions but one unforgivable sin: https://www.desiringgod.org/articles/what-is-the-unforgivable-sin. Also, I notice the Bible says there is such a thing as "whoremongers."
Thankfully, not all men fall into this category, but the general idea seems to be that it is a type of man who deliberately sets about to corrupt the morals of young women for the sake of their own pleasure: "love 'em and leave 'em." It is an anti-marriage mentality such as was promoted by Hugh Hefner and others like him.
I really appreciate your response. You bring up so many valid points that if considered would bring change in a positive direction. Men and women have been led astray and it's so easy to manipulate the hormonal. Women's lib did so much damage to society. So many erroneous messages to both men and women about sexuality.
