Satan was never God nor a god. He is a fallen angel, and is failure-bound.

But you know who are gods? We are. As quoted in Psalms and later quoted by Jesus.
He is the god of nothing. He is also just one demon apart of one faction out of many many other entities.
The whole God v Satan narrative is one that was introduced to simplify and dumb down the mythology so it could be easier to inflict on the masses for the purposes of control. Jesus has no equal or antithesis as idiots of past had tried to make us believe. Satan is just another snake on the grass like all the rest.
