So, an unborn baby’s life is equal to a convicted felon’s life? Do you people listen to yourselves?

The Bible teaches that ending a human life is wrong. The Bible condemns murder, of course (Exodus 20:13Open in Logos Bible Software (if available), Romans 13:9Open in Logos Bible Software (if available)). But the Bible also specifically identifies the taking of life in the womb as sin. Exodus 21:22Open in Logos Bible Software (if available) says that if a person strikes a pregnant woman, and her baby dies, then the person should be put to death as a murderer. In other words, taking life, even life in the womb, is a sin which deserves death.
The Bible also teaches us how and when to initiate an abortion:

"after that, he is to have the woman drink the water. 27 If she has made herself impure and been unfaithful to her husband, this will be the result: When she is made to drink the water that brings a curse and causes bitter suffering, it will enter her, her abdomen will swell and her womb will miscarry, and she will become a curse. 28 If, however, the woman has not made herself impure, but is clean, she will be cleared of guilt and will be able to have children."
So at the very least there is some contradictory passages within the Bible about abortion.
The Bible has a lot of contradictions, and that is why it is so vulnerable to criticism.
In fact, it doesn't have contradictions.
Every time I believe I've found one, I end up learning so much more about the Bible than I did before.
There's a danger in using translations such as the NIV, which have been deliberately edited to create contradictions such as this one.
