Great point. And one of the ways is to migrate to federated networks. This place is under attack and might go offline soon (best case scenario, worst case, its a tool to build files on all of us dissenters) Other than pocketnet (which we could fork and run as our own, empowering the quality content creators we've observed over time....) i havent see anything that would be fit for purpose...anyone....suggestions?

This place doesn't have a donation page, hosts TONS of communities now, had that DNS shakeup where the old admin took thedonald domain name with him and it had to change to patriots.win, etc.

I'm inclined to believe it's less safe than most believe.

Ideas have been floated around for a bit now but no real consensus has been made. I think it's going to be one of those things where we have to group back up after the "event" that brings this place down, and slowly work our way back from other channels and avenues.

Bad news, they break our site; good news, they can't break our spirit!
