This L v R crap needs to stop. I remember a time when the stuck up Christians were in charge and humor was heavily regulated to be unfunny by the right. Humor and joy do not belong to one ideology or another exclusively. Most leftists are just misguided. They're empowered by being told they're correct by the corporations. Just like Christians were told they were right by their caproate churches.

If we don't break this tribalistic, oversimplification of the situation then the plan really is for nothing. If your goal is to convince people to join your team than it is to convince them to make up their own minds on things, then there is no point to the plan as you're just trading one tyranny for another. No thanks.

People need to be able to live and express themselves freely and disagreements are necessary to keep a society free.

So no. "our side" isn't always the joyful side and at the end of the day "our side" should just be freedom and the Constitution and the rest is semantics that we can ague down from there.
