I was 26 km away from powerstation, in direction of the fumes, during the weekend when fire started. Early spring, so we were tanning on the lake. Communist government tried to hide it from people for almost 2 weeks, so Soviet media kept silent, only "dissidents" heard from Sweden, then from "Voice of America", that something happened, and KGB had another round of hunting the "rumors" (think MSM with FBI and Hunter's laptop or 2000 mules -- crickets for public and raids and defamation of 'disinformation dozen' etc. Got it?). Conscripts in about 11th day.
All 15 tanners of us got serious healt problems, mine were and are the easiest. Just a reason I keep reacting on word Chernobyl. Plus recognizing how exactly the same playbook is always used. Commies remain commies through all time, space, dimensions; under every label they try to hide behind.
Have spoken to many nuclear engineers who all said the design was so bad, so irresponsible, so insane, that it was meant at its very construction to explode exactly as it did. There is no nuke reactor that still exists anywhere in the world that remotely resembles it. The theory of intentional planned radiation weapon by a the same cabal deep state engaged in biological genocide simply cannot be ruled out as a reason for the disaster. Just like JP Morgan and the Titanic. You don't want to think it but then there is all of the data that proves the evil.
Dang, there was a video posted here not too far back about a guy a couple decades ago that was working with radiation, plutonium etc going around and speaking on how it wasn't as dangerous as it's made out to be, including holding "highly radioactive" material in his hand. Forget the dudes name, if this rings a bell with anyone, let me know, thought I'd bookmarked him.

This is a good question. Having looked back at the history via the lens of understanding that the whole world has always been a stage, I think there is a much bigger story behind Chernobyl.
Most obvious one is that Russians were creating some ultra advanced weapon and it was destroyed by the west.
Alternatively, Chernobyl was not real at all, but an illusion to cause the right amount of fear to ensure nuclear power would never replace oil.
But the most craziest interpretation would be this

I don’t think there’s any real evidence there was any kind of nuclear issue at Chernobyl. They were hiding something else there and wanted an excuse to keep people away.
