Yasss. Keep filibustering Senator Paul, and demand to set a date to carry out a new vote.
In that time, we must bombard the elected ones.
Although it isn't fillibustering exactly, it is asking for auditor oversight. Which is an 'at least look at what you are doing' thing. However, the intention is the same: Stall.
He's not even obstructing the bill. He's saying, based on precedent, that we need a way to make sure the money is used correctly.
Basically, the blood lords want to drop the money out of an airplane over Ukraine, and Rand wants them to be responsible and send it by certified mail.
zigackly, but my point was that this could be an opportunity to state the issue to the population via media, and then have a jolly re-vote. I don't trust the sleepyheads in congress to have read the bill. I know it is unusual, but so is throwing an entire country's worth of money at who-knows-where.
I don't either, neither does Downsize DC. Maybe if we replace enough Congress members with MAGA Patriots or Principled Constitutionalists like Rand Paul we could get The Read The Bills Act passed:

Remember, if any country rises as a superpower to challenge us, it’s because they’ve been spending billions on their own infrastructure, not on foreign wars. We’ve been doing foreign wars nonstop for decades while China poured concrete.
