As for the expectations and all that, I can see how/why looking at it from this point in time it would seem like it would have been hard to take the disappointment. But for me at least, it was so exciting and gave people so much hope, it didn't seem that bad. Oh sure, no doubt we all would have been thrilled to see hil perp walked (especially if it had been through the halls of congress - just as a nice backdrop, you know) but just the concept of knowing that there was somebody/somebodies on our side, people close to 45 and who actually had the authority and the ability to DO something -- that was just so exciting and gave us so much hope, it made all the waiting bearable. Now we're 4.5 years in. If we had known we'd still be talking about it and waiting, maybe our perception would have been different. I hate waiting. I'm not a patient person. But it has to be done right. So we wait.
