Fren of mine in New Jersey order about a year ago. Still waiting for the equipment. Speeds are supposed to be 200up/down. He is one of those over the top preppers and plans to use it as backup to primary fiber and in a bailout situation.
To compare, T-Mobile 5g home internet recently became available in the area. We were able to move my in-laws over to it for their primary home and vaca shore property and drop comcast. Set them up with YouTube tv and some firestiks. They will be saving about 2k a year. Tested speed at the home location was 80 down , 15 up and no data cap.
Comes to $1000 (Aussie) for equipment and and $130 monthly. Median speeds seem to be same as regular NBN.
