I've had a long, and very unique, experience with this side of technology. Decades. The majority of my life, in fact, which at this point could be considered "middle aged".
I can't really articulate what I want to say regarding this topic so I'll try to keep it short.
This particular "storyline" is vastly important. Aspects of individual identity, cultural mores, sociology, psychology, economics, philosophy, finance, education, everything are unified and magnified by this fulcrum. It is a "Keystone". It is pre-popular internet propaganda turned up to, not 11, but 13. It is, probably Their main weapon against us.
Jokes are great. The deluded assholes we all Love to Hate are going to lose their fucking minds.
It'll be for the best. And if it's Scorched Earth, so be it.
Technology WANTS to be Free. Not as in "without cost" but as in Free.
