FecesBook and Google make their money from selling ads. It's their business model: spy on the people using their sites for "free," and sell that personal data to advertisers who "target" their advertising to the naive chumps using FecesBook and Google.
And then, of course, the advertisers are being scammed by paying for access to bots instead of people, which is another story, but one maybe about to come out via the Elon and Twitter thing. It would be just one more step for advertisers to start looking closer at those "visitor" numbers.
So, what if Trump, and maybe Twitter, started dominating online advertising with ads from American manufacturers and service businesses, practical real stuff instead of bullshit. And did it in a way that didn't spy on anyone, basic stuff that everyone needs.
Honest, in-country businesses would boom with such easy, effective access to customers.
FecesBook and Google, who are already in trouble, would be wiped out.
Follow the money. It's the advertisers. Trump gets them, and game over for those two tech tyrants. Game is already over for Twitter.
And then no one uses FecesBook and Google. They follow Disney and CNN into the compost pile.
Do you think Trump would not have thought of this?
I have used Facebook Ads for my business. Look.. not a fan of FB.
But to be fair about it.
Facebook was a great thing for the small entrepreneur. They made it simple for the everyday person to run an ad.
This was critical to a lot of solo entrepreneurs to compete against the big box brands.
If Trump is going to compete. He needs to open it up to the solo entrepreneurs who can run an ad just like FB.
If he only opens it up to places with big budgets. I will continue to use FB and YouTube.
This is a business decision we have to make.
Good point. It would need to work for small businesses.
Facebook's problem was getting poltical. If they would have stayed out of that.
It wouldn't be a shit platform.
Their ad platform is actually very good. You can target at a super niche level.
This is good because it saves the advertiser money. It's also good because it's not showing people an ad that they don't want to see.
Smart and sensible post, and I'll bet that properly-handled ads will be one of the factors helping Trump's media scavenge business from the corrupt tech giants. I'm thinking more that he'll wind up buying them rather than just bankrupting them, if only to have full access to their internal correspondence and so on. Can you imagine the legal / prosecutorial goldmine that would be?
Um, not unless he saw it on the Gorilla Channel 😂 -- couldn't resist, I just happened to remember the bizarre Cabal effort early in his Administration to make people think Trump is stoopid. EVERYTHING they do to diminish Trump only makes them look like the desperate, lying fools that they are.

My Store
I just checked that out again. I had heard of it before. Not a lot of different merchandise yet.
