I find that questionable as well. Cabal does not need to actually transmit via bats when they can use easier ways to transmit it.
Secondly, if KM is being "shot at sight" we should hear a lot of "deaths of famous people" in coming weeks. Good way to verify this.
Mostly I dont find inconsistencies assuming a lot of this happens behind the closed doors.
