Why is the CEO of Lee Enterprises who owns the Racine Journal Times on the Associated Press Board of Directors?

Mary Junck was also on the board and served as chairman for many years. She is also affiliated with Knight Ridder and the Knight Foundation. The daughter of the foundation’s founder lives in Racine. Why does Warren Buffett control Lee Enterprises?

Who controls the largest newspaper empire in the U.S. including USA Today whose President also sits on the AP Board? John Jeffry Louis, heir to the Racine elite.
