My parents were true Patriots and instilled in me the need to not become complacent with my freedoms and keep the "politicians" in line. And as much as I miss them, I am also glad they don't have to witness all the evil that is happening to their beloved country, even though I know they would have fought until the end.
I am sorry for your losses and congrats for being a good patriot. God bless.
Mine too. They were the Greatest Generation and gave everything in WWII. They would never understandand or even believe what is happening and the inhumane demons running things now. And they would never believe that FDR most likely had foreknowledge of Pearl Harbor. Somebody moved those aircraft carriers out of Pearl for a reason.
Amen to that sentiment. My second thought on 9/11 was thanking God that my Father never saw that because it would have crushed him. He was a former (though not career) Marine and loved this country. And I'm glad my Mother did not have to witness this unfolding. I can say that neither of them would be necessarily surprised as they were both very much realists.
