Out of curiosity, I looked at what Snopes had to say (I donโt know why I did, because I automatically doubt anything they have to say and donโt usually waste my time). They claim to have personally contacted Mr. Alber (whom other websites confirmed is a retired judge) and verified that he did indeed write the letter. He reportedly could not remember the name of the textbook.
Other websites where the letter is printed include an item #10 - control education but this is not on the Epoch Times version.
I would like to see a source on this.
Apparently the source is the Epoch Times.

Apparently asking for a source gets downvotes? Is this Reddit?
