He was a research assistant at GS since 2013 in "Global economics, commodities and strategy" (LinkedIn).
His sister, Griselda Vile (yes, her actual name), mentioned in articles about this murder, is a teacher in the NYC education system with a salary over twice as high as the average. Maybe she was there a long time?
Edit: sister Griselda gave the following statements to the press regarding the murder of her brother:

Losing a loved one is bad enough, she said, “but even if they catch this person he’s going to be out again.” "
