Then a** third angel** followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, 10 he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. Revelation 14:9-10
God said that he formed us in the womb. Yet many Christians have no problem with abortion.
I don't think that people will be worshipping the beast as much as not worshipping God.
We will serve. Our choice is to serve God or serve Satan. One or the other. There is no in between.
If we don't serve God we will serve the beast.
God will give people a final chance to get it right. Three angels flying overhead one warning against taking the mark should be a huge wakeup call. No one will be able to say they didn't know what they were doing, or they made a poor choice
The choice to choose God or to choose not to choose God is something we all face every day, too often we get it wrong but the price for that failing has already been paid, Jesus died not just for our sins but the sins of the whole world. 1 John 2:2
This choice - is one from which there is no way back and God's love for His creation - and He formed all, even those who will take the mark and there will be many - is such that He is prepared to try anything to save them!
I believe that everyone is "saved" because Jesus became sin and became the perfect sacrifice. That does not mean that everyone goes to heaven.
As far as God is concerned our sin is cast as far as the west is from the west.
The big lie is that somehow we have done something to cause God to reject us.
The truth is He accepts all. We are simply called to reject the lie and accept the truth that He loves us without condition.
There is only one sin and it is the unpardonable sin (Matthew 12)
It is the sin where we cannot accept the forgiveness that the Holy Spirit whispers into our hearts. We have free will. If we choose not to accept the free gift God will not violate our free will.
God has not rejected us, we would have rejected him. We ourselves would declare that we cannot be in his presence. He is very clear in scripture. I will never leave you or forsake you.
Jesus became sin on the cross 2 Cor 5:21. Sin on the cross cried out and accused God of forsaking Him.
That is the Big Lie. The lie that somehow God as turned His back on us. That is what was nailed to the cross.
All sorts of evil flow from that idea that somehow God has forsaken us.
I do not believe that people will look up into the sky and see and hear angels warning about the mark. Matthew 24:24 says false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive. If possible, even the elect.
We are called to worship in Spirit and Truth. We do not need signs and wonders.
If everyone is saved all will go to eternity. Our future is on earth not in heaven, see Revelation 21 & 22.
The sin price has been paid for all, however go back to John 3 where salvation is only for those who accept Jesus, those who won't are already condemned.
Revelation 17 tells us there are some whose names were never in the Lamb's Book of Life. Some names were in that Book but have been blotted out.
Matthew 10:28 Jesus warns that God will destroy body and soul in hells fire.
Your last sentence appears to suggest that you don't believe God, and I hope in this your words are in error. These angels are not men/false prophets. The first words of Revelation tell us that this is God the Father's revelation given to His Son to give to John for us, and those who read or even hear it will be blessed.
Jesus didn't actually call us to worship in spirit and truth, He said the days are coming when we shall. At this point we only see in part, we have thus far been given the promise and assurance but we have not yet been changed, we remain works in progress. We remain today broken human beings who still fail, Romans 7. What passes as worship today is all too often a controlled emotional activity based on man's doctrine and dogma. We only see in part, if not then there would truly be one church in the world.
You cannot mistake the mark of the beast
Then a** third angel** followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, 10 he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. Not certain what point you are making.
