Amidst all the reading and research I have done over the many, many years. I still see this idea brought up consistently that the cabal/bad guys/dirtbags, whatever you want to call them have an additional mandate besides taking over the world and controlling everyone. This mandate is that they "must" inform by some manner of what they plan to do. I have yet to see anything that offers concrete evidence of this. Additionally, is this only the upper/mid-upper echelon that must do this, or demonic obediance? There are plenty of terrible actions that were not given any warnings: LV shooting, assassination of the arch duke, institution of the fed, OKC bombing, sinking of the titanic(olympic) to name a few. And of course we have warnings about the scamdemics, economy, etc etc.
I and I am certain others have the same question about the why. The face that some things are warned about and some not leaves for some inconsistency, unless there is some other explanation. Perhaps all of the cabal isn't all on the same team, and they have their different methods or something.
Looking forward to seeing some answers frens!

Magic isn't what people think it is, it's what people think.
Wizards First Rule.
People are stupid. They can be made to believe any lie because either they want to believe it's true or because they are afraid it's true.
Spez: funnily enough, when you search Wizards first rule several of the top links are to reddit posts disparaging the series for being critical of the evils of communism. Lol.
I personally think Rule #9 is fundamentally flawed - especially in terms of how it relates to faith, something that Richard proves in the books - which is nice :)
There are other rules I believe - I'm going to have to read the books again because I forgot them.*
There are loads of side stories going on in that series that could really do with being fleshed out - I really liked Gar for instance.
Someone did it for me..
