So, this is awesome and not unexpected.

Curious little tidbit: the bot accounts not only interacted with a hidden, nonsensical and low triggering (only 5 keywords used) advertisement (and millions of other advertisements in their history), thus generating revenue for Twitter...

But in their "downtime" these bots also spammed retweets of socially corrupting pornography to the masses. Assuredly minors stumbled upon this content.

Talk about double dipping your beak in the cesspool.

Wonder who's behind these botnets...
