Hate that there is so much Kemp support in GA. He will never beat Abrams this fall and GA will be condemned to be run by corrupt Dems - maybe forever. GA was one of my all-time favorite states. So sad. Maga was just not strong enough to overcome corrupt Rep. AND Dems.

Just curious…. Did you ever go out and campaign for any of your favorite candidates? Did you do any block walking? Volunteer? Wear candidate apparel? Help “spread the work” for your favorite candidate? Educate yourself on opposition policy and what they value which you see unfit? How would your candidate do better?? Have you ever reached out to Scott Pressler (P.S. I have, and I don’t even live in GA)? How about Vernon Jones (I’ve also reached out to help and again… I don’t even live in GA)? Or even Perdue (ALSO reached out because I knew Warnock was a wife beating scumbag… and again, I don’t even live in GA)? I can go on and on…
If you haven’t done at least a handful of these, then you literally have no right to complain.
Tru dat
People who are doing this stuff don't have TIME to complain.
Yet the ones who aren't doing anything because they don't have time cause "muh house and car" but then magically find time to complain.
Cool.
I agree and am incredibly active in these ways, particularly outside of my state (TX).
Now… does that change what’s happening in GA? Did your comment change reality?
No?
OK, then I think it’s still worthy of discussion on a discussion forum. Condescendingly denying reality or putting caution tape around a topic and calling it DoOmiNg because the reality isn’t positive isn’t helping either.
You can’t just brush off reality as “dooming” and think it’s going to do anything.
To be honest, it looks like someone just trying to deny reality.
This thread was stickied to bring awareness that IF you’re not taking action and you’re just whining behind a keyboard, then you have no right to be complaining. The OP later clarified that he does take action, at which point, I praised him for being involved. Though, more often than not, there’s still a lot of people out there who may be worried internally and do not express it here as “dooming” who either are not doing much or don’t know what to do.
This sticky is more intended to bring awareness to the seriousness of our involvement (or lack thereof) to those who think things will change and that someone else will do the heavy lifting for them. We’ll their in for a rude awakening, and a community can only hold some many others’ baggage.
Remember, we have a MUCH MORE important election coming up in November. So if this isn’t a wake up call for worried keyboard warriors, then idk what is.
Again, OP later clarified that he is in fact taking action and the push for action argument is now directed more towards those who are inactive.
I actually have sent money (live out of state, too) and become politically active in my home state. A lot like you say you did. It just seems that the actual GA voters are blind to what Kemp has done and that he cannot beat Abrams. I want to be wrong, believe me.
Atlanta is the southern capital of corruption. There is so much that goes on there it often competes with DC
Sending money only goes so far (administration costs mostly) it’s the volunteering and rallying which make the huge changes. I really hope that the rant may be a temporary mood. Though, if you really are out there talking to people, then keep up the good work!
I am and thanks
