Difficult actually, I’ve had to modify my schedule a few times & am now commuting. Due to gas prices & my budget mainly. My Stepmom is doing ok but her quality of life is pretty much ruined. Thanks Pfizer!! Thanks for asking tho…how are you?
I am able to walk now without the shooting extreme constant pain and numbness in my leg and butt. Still alot in my low back though.
Some folks on here suggested I look into starting a PMA (Private Membership Association) rather than a 501C3 and givesendgo for coming up with funds for starting Camp Yesu. Turns out EIN (employer number) and costs $849 for the two. I have contacted PMA and they said that it would work to do, however the cost is minimum of $10,000 . The only difference is that 501C3 would have government involvement where the PMA would not. I have set up a givesendgo account and just need to submit a video (still have to make) before I can post anywhere. The lady I spoke with yesterday at PMA said she started a program very similar to what Camp Yesu will be in Dominican Republic where she is from and it is going very well.
Would you still be interested in being a part of Camp Yesu somehow (board & or staff) when you are done helping your stepmom?
PS. I miss chatting with you.
Your Sis in Christ

Hey!! I’m so sorry you’re having to deal with all that pain?! After all my health issues in last decade I’m just glad I’m still walking & talking? (All my toes removed & of course the throat cancer). And outside of leg cramps if I indulge in sugar I don’t have much pain. My ex-galfriend has fibromyalgia & chronic pain so I can empathize with your situation.
Very interesting about the organizational structure plan. On the charitable contributions GSG definitely vs GoFundMe…we learned about GFM and their beliefs/behavior right here watching the Ottawa trucker fiasco!! Plus Christians mostly now know which organization is on the side of God; at least I would hope they know??!
The situation right now with my StepMom is solid through September, & then my Brother or Cousin will take over from me. I gotta look into whether being a commuting health caregiver’s expenses is tax deductible cuz my gas-costs are getting outrageous tbh. But that’s not important, anyway I am very interested however I can’t predict the future. I’ll have to evaluate come September I guess? Have you, your husband and/or Cousin narrowed down which properties you’re finding most attractive? Just curious.
Still working on the property narrowing selection part. I think I can safely scratch some, and about four have sold. I wish I knew the laws of each state as far as hunting, fishing, building on property etc.
The pain is not near as bad as before.
Mind if I ask what happened with your toes?

Diabetic ulcers. After losing 70 pounds post-chemo the diabetes “went away” ie all my blood readings are normal now. I can walk fine, but some things are challenging like, climbing a ladder.
