ok, so this prisoner that escaped

there were 16 remaining prisoners on the bus, 16 + 1 = 17

there were 7 agencies involved. DPS, TDJC, LEON COUNTY SHERIFF, US MARSHAL, US PRISONS INVESTIGATIVE UNIT, OIG, TEXAS RANGERS

the town of Centerville was closed down for almost a week

the reasons for transporting the prisoner conflict - medical and relocation

there's no way 16 felons were on a bus with two guards. there would have been two guards per inmate, plus the driver.

So he cut his way out.

I'm thinking this was a separate operation to root out ms13 in Texas.
