Why do all these poor, small town illegal parents have borderline art photography of their children?

glamour shots from a mall, I'd get. Nice clean pictures visiting relative took with their DSLR, FINE...

But incredibly framed, deliberately lighted photographs that are dripping with foreshadowing? I've seen several at this point

Ordinary parents don't have those laying around to be printed at protests thousands of miles away

Perhaps if these parents are illegal immigrants, the photos were taken at a housing facility at the border awaiting processing or something. Just a thought.
