In the movie The Truman Show they tried to tell us with a dome and civilization inside. A controlled environment. They can't help themselves with gloating about their deceptions.

Very underrated film
Best line of the movie right after he rams his boat into the side of "the earth".
His other movie was outstanding too and very patriotic "The Majestic"

Exactly. I've been fooled and probably the biggest one are all these compromised modern bibles.
