I'm not even keen to this passage and I pretty much deduced this based off the language used. All it said was the dude waited 3 years for her to come of age. She would have to be 0 years old and thus, non-existent, for his interpretation to even be continuous.
That sounds logical..I will check it out...but think of Mary ..she was taken by her parents at three to the temple..she stayed there until she was given to Joseph at 12. Got pregnant not by Joseph
Three years old plus a day that was when girls were ok to have sex with..that is not a mistake.
Remember that the Talmud was written after Jesus in direct opposition to the spread of Christianity. It contradicts both the New Testament and the Torah.
