Traveled out of the country with a group of people for a 4-day weekend. Per cdc and the resident in chief, US citizens must show proof of a negative Covid test prior to returning to the states. Three members of my party, myself included, failed the coof test and have been holed up in quarantine for the last 6 days. During that time I missed my civic duty by not being able to vote in the GA primary…had to watch corruption from afar. Have spent countless hours on GAW and others, just to pass the time. Fast forward to today when we were set to leave…nope. We are stuck for another 5 days despite being a-symptomatic, we are still testing positive. The doctor who did the testing asked the three of us if we had been vaccinated. One of us ( not me or the spouse) has been three times vaxed. When I told the doc that I preferred not to say, she said, “then I will take that as a no”. “If you had the vaccine you’d probably get out of here sooner.” In that moment I think I had what can only be described as an out of body experience. “Fuck you”, I said. “ you have no right to ask and have no way of knowing if what you said is true”. “Just ask my vaxed and boosted friend here”. “And don’t even get me started on the fucking PCR test you want to ram up my nose!” Yes, I completely lost my shit.
Rest assured frens…while masses of illegals cross our southern border to get cash and a free phone, exposing all who cross their path, my party is safely sheltering place because our government has banned us from returning home.
End of rant.
Under what law can they hold you?
Good question.
I am a king in my own country, I don't know how they could prevent you from entering the USA. Decline to answer. Am I being detained?
Most of this bull shit requires voluntary compliance.
Hospital visit this week, they asked me to sanitize my hands. I go through the motions, no sanitizer. They ask if I've been vaxxed, I decline to answer. They say I'll have to wait in the car while my kid gets seen. I sit down with my kid. They call my kid's name, I go back with them, do the appointment, go home.
You don't have to be an ass about it, just do not comply.
Well.. when you are being denied entry to your own country, it's not a compliance vs non compliance issue.
By not complying, you are simply going to continue to be harassed.
It remains the strong who have the will to resist this oppression.
There was a guy who was walking right out of Canadian customs shouting, "they don't have the power to detain you! You do not have to submit to quarantine!" And they were escorting him out of the airport.
This was Canada where they were trying to force everyone into a hotel to quarantine on entry. They have fewer rights than U.S. Citizens.
Most of this covid lockdown shit was bluffing to scare people into compliance. They had very few actual powers to do anything.
I wouldn't stay there. It is unconstitutional. They just depend on the fact that we obey whatever they command us to do.
