Being a tiny town like that I'd imagine 2 or more of the 6 officer (I saw a picture w 6 of them) we're unavailable. Sick? Vacation? Who knows... Just spitballin... So they had to call in BORTAC.
My city had two swat units to pull from despite being "part-time."

Having travelled to Uvalde before for work, BP is all over the place as there is a checkpoint nearby and the border is not that far away. It's normal for LE to assist LE.
Why are you pushing this so hard, handshake? I live in SA; we were stationed at Laughlin. I'm familiar with the area. You're trying to tell me that it's normal for a SWAT team to wait an hour for another SWAT team to show up? Move along please.
okay. If Uvalde has a part time swat team, why did they wait for the border patrol swat team.
